About Augustino Gusto Bakery
Located at 2508 New Garden Rd E, Greensboro, NC 27455, Augustino Gusto Bakery operates as an italian deli serving Greensboro in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Italian delis and bakeries sell by weight and by the piece, and many close mid-afternoon.
Hours are published for 4 days a week. On most of those days it is open 10 amβ5 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Tuesday, Friday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Augustino Gusto Bakery at (336) 740-7005; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, augustinogustobakery.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 316 reviews, which is a strong result for an italian deli in Greensboro and suggests consistent service.
Greensboro is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Greensboro follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Delicious and busy bakery. Waited about 15 minutes in line. Lots of perfectly golden flakey options to choose from, both sweet and savory. Friendly service and seating at outdoor picnic tables.

Updated review: weβve tried more items from Augustinoβs and they are very good, weβve since tried the chocolate croissant, pain au raisin, raspberry Cruffin, chocolate Cruffin, walnut croissant and cannoli and all were amazing! We try to come out here at least once or twice a month now. On our latest visit we tried the coconut pie, limoncello pie, chocolate vanilla cake, pistachio pie, and biscoff croissant, all very fresh tasting and I just love that their items are not overly sweet, they have perfected the sweetness level. Iβd officially say our favorite items are the chocolate croissant (pain au chocolate), pain au raisin, raspberry cruffin and chocolate cruffin, eclair, and their sourdough! But everything weβve had is great. Previous review: We stopped here today for the first time. Itβs a small bakery located in a residential neighborhood, which was charming and unique. The main parking area is on down and to the right once you pull in. When we walked up the walkway ramp, the smell of freshly baked items filled the air, most notably the savory baked items. We arrived around 10:40am on a Wednesday and were pleased there were only a handful of people waiting in line. This ga

Not long ago, a friend brought a couple of loaves of bread from Augustino Gusto Bakery to a party. I was instantly in love! First time coming in to the bakery today. My love continues! Itβs a tiny shop open just 3 days a week. I came on Saturday and bought a few loaves of bread (to take to a pot-luck party tonight) and a few things for lunch for my husband and I. We tried the mozzarella and tomato quiche ($15), the Spinach and cheese roll ($12?), and an apple strudel. Each was incredible. The spinach and cheese pastry had tons of the filling and was excellent at room temperature. We warmed up the quiche just a little, it was so delicious! Apple strudel was smaller but we loved it. All in total, three loaves of bread, 3 pastries, and a latte came to $79.05, including a tip. When I first came to Greensboro, I used to be so disappointed in the local bread options. Now I have a couple of options and can probably just cancel my bread subscription! (Yes, I was angry enough to order bread online lol!). The bread from this place is FANTASTIC. 10/10 highly recommend. The place also has a ton of outdoor seating on picnic tables (when the weather cooperates). I did see plenty of folks just ch

Augustino Gusto is the best bakery in Greensboro, bar none. Take it from someone who has lived in San Francisco (supposedly where you can find the top bakeries in the United States) and has travelled extensively to France and Italy. Their products are top notch. If youβre looking for the overly sweet desserts common in the south, this place is not it - their offerings are more elegant and European. Itβs an absolute hidden gem in the heart of the Triad.
